Speaker 1:

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of Resilience Unveiled, navigating the Symphony of Life the Warrior's Tale. I am your host, t'is Taylor Scott, and today's episode is a powerful testament to the strength of the human spirit. I have a remarkable story to share with you today, one that embodies courage, love, music and the unwavering pursuit of happiness in the face of adversity. My guest today has faced more challenges in life than many could have, yet has risen above them with grace and determination. This is a story of fighting not just for survival, but for a life filled with joy and purpose. So today I am going to be hosting, and we have a wonderful guest Now. Tracy, thank you so much for joining us today. Yes, this story is about me. I will ask the questions and I will answer them too. So here we go. So guest is thank you so much for having me. It's honour to share my journey with you all.

Speaker 1:

Your journey has been a short of extraordinary. You are a battle, chronic and life-threatening health issues, while being a loving and dedicated parent to your son. Can you tell us about the journey and obviously this is me with the answer. So certainly, my health struggles represented a formidable obstacle, but my love for my son was my driving force. Every sip of the way, every day, I found strength I never knew I had, navigating the challenges of life-threatening issues while ensuring my son's well-being at all times. And during those trying times, the music of Michael Ball and Alfie Bo became a lifeline for me, especially Michael's in the early days. Now here we go with a question. Music truly was a remarkable way of touching our hearts. How did the music of Michael Ball and Alfie Bo resonate with your journey? My answer their music, with its depth of emotion and soaring melodies, felt like a reflection of my own experiences. This totally resonated with me. Their performance became a source of solace and inspiration, reminding me that I wasn't alone in my struggles. It was as if their voices carried me through the toughest times. Their voices reached me in ways I could never have ever imagined. Question it's incredible how music and connectors in such profound ways.

Speaker 1:

You have faced adversity on social media too, but you tuned it around and turned it around by creating supportive fundraising groups. Can you tell us about that transformation? Answer Absolutely. While I was battling my own health issues some were life threatening, certainly ongoing and very, very difficult to deal with, especially on a daily basis. I faced relentless bullying and trolling on social media, which often came from nowhere. I don't know why they do it to me, but unfortunately they do. Obviously I'm a target putting myself out there. I've always been an incredibly private person. However, to do what I do now the funders and the giving and helping and supporting others I've had to open myself up and be a little bit more open on social media. I have nothing to hide. So these people targeting me I really don't know where they come from. However, that's their problem, not mine. I rise above all that and, of course, instead of succumbing to negativity, I channel that energy into creating some safe spaces where people could come together, share their stories and support one another. These groups became a beacon of positivity and solidarity and continue to do so to this day, building friendships while sharing wonderful mutual interest in all aspects of life.

Speaker 1:

My unique groups, with all my own little twists and things and my own unique niche, has made something very, very special which is still growing to this day. The unity of friendships speak for themselves. The support, the incredible fundraising I'm doing, the help and support with people helping me. With the fundraising we have building, we have absolutely smashing the targets and making incredible inroads to becoming a really fabulous group. We hope that this will build and people come and join us. It's a small subscription fee, obviously, for that group. That subscription fee is pledged to all the charities we support, plus also the members. We do wonderful random acts of kindness for people. I started the random acts of kindness well before I did the groups and the fundraising as well, but I've put it all together with the fundraising and everything I love to do, rolled into one lovely group, and everybody else is starting to join now.

Speaker 1:

So that's an absolutely wonderful question. So turning adversity into empowerment is truly remarkable and through all you've maintained your strength, determination, motivation and, most importantly, your integrity. How were you able to hold on to those qualities? My answer it wasn't easy, but my love for my son, my desire to be true to myself, kept me going. I refused to let the challenges define me. I clung to my passions, like the music of Michael Ball and Alphibaud, and my unyielding support system, my close knit family who stood by me every step of the way. My passion for my businesses and my love of life. My love of giving has always been part of me. It's built in me, in where some would people still do not understand, but I rise above those negative thoughts to bring the kindness to everyone I meet. I am just me.

Speaker 1:

Your story is the testament to the power of resilience and the impact of unwavering support. Before we wrap up, what message do you have for our listeners who might be facing their own challenges? My answer is I want to tell that, no matter how dark the tunnel may seem, there's always a glimmer of light waiting to guard you. Embrace your passions, do not let anybody stop you. If it's something that you love to do, keep on doing it. Be living, hope, live for your passions and do what you love. Always Lean on your support network and stay true to yourself. Your journey may be tough, but it's shaping you into someone stronger and more extraordinary than you could ever imagine. So the question is thank you, tracy, for sharing your incredible story of resilience, love and the transformative power of music. The genuine undoubtedly inspire countless listeners to find their own strength within and to listeners. Thank you for joining me on another episode of Resilience Unveiled navigating the symphony of life the Warriors tale.
